how do you use Q-tips?

I love Q-tips® cotton swabs. I really do. We go through plenty of packages in our house. There are just so many uses for them! I recently received a package of Q-tips® cotton swabs and the new Q-tips® Precision Tips™ to try out. I didn't even know there were precision tips, but they are fabulous! I have found so many uses for them.

One thing I love to use Q-tips® cotton swabs for is my kids painting. My boys love to paint but sometimes it is hard for my littlest guy to get his hands to do the job. Q-tips® are the perfect size for his little fingers and it also helps him not to make such a huge mess!

These are also the perfect size to do some face painting! You can paint some great details using Q-tips® cotton swabs since they have such small tips.

My favorite use for the Q-tips® Precision Tips™ is when I am painting my nails. I am horrible at painting my own nails and the precision tips are the perfect tool to get the extra paint mistakes off the sides of my finger. Love them!

There are so many other great uses for Q-tips® Precision Tips™ and Q-tips® cotton swabs.
 Here are some tips:
-great for applying glue to models and arts and crafts projects. Use one tip to apply the glue and the other to remove any excess before it dries.
-great for applying medications and ointments to minor cuts and bruises – they are convenient, clean and disposable.
-an excellent alternative to using a makeup brush or sponge. They provide precise makeup application, are great for softening the bright colors, and safe for delicate skin around the eyes.
-great for touching up paint or stains in your home. You can get into really small areas with them.

What do you use Q-tips® for? Visit the Q-tips® Facebook Page where you can enter the Q-tips® Tip-a-Thon! To participate, you simply need to share the ways you use Q-tips® cotton swabs or Q-tips® Precision Tips™, and you’ll be eligible for a chance to win* a $100 gift card or a grand prize worth $1,000 (to be announced in December). How awesome would that be?

I like Q-Tips. And I like your blog. But the shilling of a product in the blog content? This is where I draw the line. I just wanted to let you know this is why I've removed you from my feed. Thanks for all the fun!

Evelin,
We appreciate your feedback! We completely understand your point of view, and are sorry to lose you as a subscriber. But to help you understand our point of view, you should understand we spend quite a lot of time and money producing this blog. Believe it or not, we don't get to craft just for ourselves anymore--a lot of our projects are only created for content for our readers! And that gets expensive and takes time away from our families. For that reason we sometimes take paid sponsorship opportunities to offset our costs. We try to choose products that we use ourselves as moms and crafters. Luckily as a reader you can choose not to read the post or skip over it in your feed! We think that's a small and easy thing for readers to do in order to continue receiving great crafting content. We hope you understand and will continue looking for the great crafting content you've enjoyed in the past, along with a few sponsored posts.

Thanks for your understanding!!

I didn't even know about the precision q-tips. I'm glad to hear about them.

And I agree - if not interested in a particular post just skip over it - easy as pie, oh wait, pie can be hard to make -- well, it's easy!
